The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Dusa, will make a visit in the Federal Republic of Germany on 23 and 24 September, at the invitation of his counterpart, Ursula von der Leyen.

The two officials will sign the Protocol on the cooperation in the military field between the Romanian Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Defence of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The official agenda of the visit includes topics related to the conclusions of the NATO Summit in Wales, the analysis of the security situation on NATO`s eastern flank, the commitment of the allies in Afghanistan and the development of joint capabilities projects.

During the official visit, the Romania Minister will visit the Joint Forces Operations Command at Potsdam, where he will meet the chief of the General Staff, Brigadier Peter Georg Stutz.
